Queensland Pledge


Tourism Queensland in partnership with Tourism Australia and QTIC is calling on all members of the Queensland tourism industry to join in as a part of Nothing Beats Queensland, Where Australia Shines recovery campaign.

The Queensland Pledge is a grass-roots initiative that can be used by the largest hotel, the smallest B&B, a family-run tour company, a retailer or a restaurant.

How can you be a part of this?
Tourism Queensland has developed  'The Queensland Pledge'. This is a pledge from the Queensland tourism industry, both organisations and individuals, to visitors to Queensland.

The Queensland Pledge tells visitors that our state isn’t damaged beyond repair and that to bring visitors back our businesses are prepared to go that extra mile, give that extra smile and show the world that Queensland is and always will be where Australia shines and where the Australian spirit shines through.

Housing Affordability the focus of Pre-Budget Submission by REIA

The Real Estate Institute of Australia has put forward a Pre-Budget Submission to the Commonwealth  Government identifying a range of areas which affect housing affordability that need to be addressed in the  2011/12 Budget.
