Have your say on local laws

Council has developed a suite of proposed local laws and subordinate local laws (“proposed local laws”) which are likely to affect businesses on the Sunshine Coast.

Council has invited the business community to have their say on a number of issues including the delivery of unsolicited mail (junk mail), advertising devices, management of trolleys, commercial parking labels and commercial use of local government controlled areas (such as footpath dining and roadside vending) and more.
The purpose of the proposed local laws is to streamline the existing three sets of local laws into one functional and contemporary suite of local laws for the Sunshine Coast

For more information or to make an online submission, visit council's website from 15 August 2011 to Sunday 11 September 2011.
