Tiger touches down for Sunshine Coast Easter

Tiger Airways Flight TT252 touched down on the Sunshine Coast, beginning a regular
route from Melbourne bringing Victorian visitors to the region over the next 12 months.

Victoria and Melbourne are key interstate markets for the region, with more than 40 percent

of interstate holiday visitors to the Sunshine Coast coming from Victoria, according to the
latest National Visitor Survey.

The new Tiger Airways’ flights from Melbourne to Sunshine Coast are perfectly timed to

deliver a boost for the region during key Easter holiday period.

Tiger will increase the four weekly flights to daily in June, taking the number of seats into the

region to 1,260 per week and further cementing the airline’s confidence in the Sunshine Coast
as a tourism destination.
