Funding Opportunity - 2011 Events Queensland Regional Development Program

Applications are now open for the 2011 Events Queensland Regional Development Program, funded by the Department of Premier and Cabinet. The program is committed to enhancing existing events in regional Queensland, as well as helping to establish new events. Event organisers are able to apply for funding to support the growth and development of their event.

To be eligible for funding, events must be located in regional Queensland, outside of the Brisbane City Council area. Events must have been held at least once or, if in the concept stage, be at an advanced stage of development with demonstrated community support.

Housing Affordability the focus of Pre-Budget Submission by REIA

The Real Estate Institute of Australia has put forward a Pre-Budget Submission to the Commonwealth  Government identifying a range of areas which affect housing affordability that need to be addressed in the  2011/12 Budget.
